We had a very memorable time in Ninh Binh during the hot, wet season in May! The started off roasting hot and ended with torrential downpour but we managed to climb to the top of the Mua Cave viewpoint for the incredible view just seconds before thunder and lightning started. Our wonderful guide Khoa/James was a huge help and his energy was infectious. He even ran around during the downpour to give our raincoats. I didn’t regret a moment!
